About NA in Pakistan
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) in Pakistan started small in the early 1990s but has been growing gradually ever since. The first NA meeting in Pakistan took place in Karachi. The main language spoken in Pakistan is Urdu but we also have English speaking members. A few years later new groups were formed. Pakistan also has two regions Pakistan South and Pakistan North.
Slowly after years of work the number of groups increased in both the regions allowing more addicts to join and get recovery. Between 2011 & 2015 the number of groups increased to 7 in Pakistan South. All the meetings were face to face. Pakistan also has 1 virtual meeting. The growth of NA Pakistan fellowship was slow and gradual at the beginning, at present, four groups are fully operational in Pakistan south and 1 virtual. Pakistan is working hard to increase the meetings and work on the sub committee for a better growth.
